Join our parents’ association

We have an active parents’ association at Somerhill which welcomes all parents and families. We host several fun events throughout the year for pupils and our wider community. Some events are focused on community building including our Christmas fair, quiz night, Burns night supper and Easter treasure hunt whilst other events, including our colour run in May and the biennial Somerhill ball, are more focussed on fundraising for local charities. The SPA was delighted to raise over £27,000 for four charities last academic year.

Getting involved in organising the events is a great way to feel more involved with the school and to meet other parents. 30 parent volunteers helped organise our seven events last year and we are always delighted to hear from parents who would like to get involved.
