Last week, Year 8 set off to the Écrins National Park as part of their Leavers’ Programme for six days of adventure ‘en plein air.’ The boys were given the opportunity to test their own limits with challenging activities like Via Ferrata and Canyoning, along with learning how to switch off from their busy lives with a hike into the mountains and an overnight stay in the peaceful Refuge Tourond. Whitewater rafting, tubing, high ropes and mountain biking ramped up the fun factor, while interactions in the local shops gave them plenty of French speaking practice! The boys rose to all the challenges with aplomb and demonstrated some wonderful leadership skills and team spirit. Well done, Year 8!
