How better to learn about dinosaurs than to visit the Natural History Museum?

Year 2 recently headed up to London to see “Dippy the Diplodocus” and learn about “Sophie the Stegosaurus”. They were able to handle real dinosaur fossils and saw examples of Mary Anning’s Ichthyosaur, to complement their classroom learning. The children were a credit to Somerhill, displaying perfect manners and listening skills. Lessons learned outside of the classroom are a great way to engage and inspire little minds.
