Last week our Somerhill Saplings focused on learning what to do in the woods and how to keep safe. They also learnt about the sycamore tree and looked at the leaves and the helicopter seeds.
Our young explorers made small baskets with the leaves and then went for a blackberry walk. They collected blackberries and made blackberry paint, squashing the juice on to paper. They even learned a song about brambles…
