Boys and girls from Years 3 to 8 travelled to Claremont Prep School to compete for the Dobson Trophy. There were 6 races in total and our pupils had to navigate through woodland, up and down steep hills and across a couple of bridges in the mud.
Once again Somerhill runners showed their merit with a whole host of excellent individual and team results. In the U9 girls race Sophie T came 1st, Willa R 3rd and Beatrice T 5th. Top individual placements for the boys included 11th place for Christian O in the U9 section and 12th place for Douglas B in the U11 section.
Overall our girls’ team won, returning with a trophy and our boys’ team finished second. Well done to all our runners!
