On Monday 8 pupils travelled to Nuneaton for the National Athletics Championships. As ever with a National final the competition and standard was very high, with between 12-18 participants in each event. Despite this, our pupils performed brilliantly in each of the 6 events. A huge well done to all for qualifying from the Kent Regionals and then representing their county at a National Championships. 👏👏

Sienna E ran a new PB of 5:24.08 in the 1500m, finishing 5th.
Luca S ran a new PB of 5:02.90 in the 1500m, finishing 5th.
George S jumped 1.45m and finished 5th in High Jump.
Harry B threw 14m 76cm in the Discus, finishing 9th.
Erin T jumped 3.78m in Long Jump, finishing 11th.
Relay team of Alasdair M-R, Ted S, Luca S and Isaac P ran 60.08 finishing 9th in the 4 x 100m.
