Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Pupils have been learning about China and Chinese New Year recently at school. On Friday, Year 4 held an assembly on the topic and the children were treated to a special Chinese menu at lunchtime.

In SPP, Year 1 have had a fantastic time researching everything about pandas as they created fact files and leaflets full of information about them and even painted their own pandas using different techniques. Year 2 were lucky enough to fly with their imagination to Beijing having prepared their own passports and boarding passes, the children were even treated to onboard refreshments and snacks, managing to see the Great Wall of China and Pandas upon their arrival!
