We have started an exciting new subject with the year 7 and 8 boys called Sport Science.

Performance Analysis

They will explore different aspects of this growing industry, the first being performance analysis. To start with, we recorded the boys performing simple football skills then recorded them in small sided games. In their next lessons they watched themselves back on computers and picked out several skills they performed in the video. Finally, they compared themselves to a ‘perfect model’ for those skills, describing how they had done well but also noting what they needed to improve on.
