After a tough week of tournament rugby, the U11A rugby team were victorious at the Solefields 7s tournament on Saturday.

It was, however, the spirit in which the boys played that won them the admiration of opposition players, parents and coaches alike. Ask any Year 6 rugby player to complete the sentence: “Knock & Lock…” and you will get a taste of what playing rugby for Yardley Court means to these boys. A big thanks to the parents on the sidelines for the way in which they support the boys, coaches and, most importantly, the referees: it is a difficult job at the best of times.
