Somerhill celebrated the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III today with all children dressing in red, white and blue.

SPP crafted their own crowns before meeting in the courtyard for a royal street party with traditional British scones.

Prep pupils took part in a carousel of coronation-inspired activities, including escape rooms, orienteering, crown and flag-making, commemorative mug-making and archery. Year 5 pupils had the opportunity to add another string to their bows by taking part in a royal themed archery competition. Pupils bravely stepped up to fire their arrows, hoping to achieve the highest score possible and be crowned king or queen of the archery range!
