During the first week of the Easter holidays, 72 children and 9 staff from Somerhill went on the annual Somerhill Ski Trip. This year’s trip returned to Claviere, part of the Milky Way ski area, allowing the group to ski in Sestriere and Montgenevre as well as the slopes around Claviere.

The Hotel Miramonti once again provided the perfect base for a week of skiing. Fulvia, her brother Fabio and their team of waitresses, spoilt the skiers with hearty Italian food, giving them the energy to ski for up to 7 hours.

The children experienced real spring skiing, with sunshine and melting snow on some days, followed by blizzards and powder snow on others. Evening activities were loved by all, with the pizza night at a local restaurant being the highlight due to the delicious food and the accompanying karaoke session.
