Somerhill were delighted to host the annual Bracken Cup and Woodmansee Shield events last Friday. We welcomed boys and girls from a number of schools to compete in the U9, U11 and U13 age groups.

Somerhill pupils performed very strongly with mud underfoot and sunshine overhead. The boys retained the Bracken Cup with four runners finishing in the top 10 across the three age groups (U9, U11 & U13). The girls also the won back the Woodmansee Shield for the first time since 2019 with seven girls placing in the top 10 of the U9 & U11 races, including two 1st place finishes and one 2nd place finish!
