ISI Inspections
The Independent Schools Inspectorate is the body approved by the Secretary of State for Education and Skills for the purpose of inspecting independent schools. The most recent inspections, when the schools were judged to be outstanding, were in the Michaelmas Term of 2010 and then there were effectively three teams: one for the Early Years of the Pre-Prep, one for Derwent Lodge and one for Yardley Court and Years One and Two of the Pre-Prep. Because Somerhill Pre-Prep and Yardley Court are registered together with the Department, they are covered in the same report, EYFS included.
